Welcome to the RSSG

The 2008/09 Committee year is gradually coming to an end, with only a couple of months and on activity to go and concluding with the grand finale of the year - our annual St George's ball in April. This year's function is very special as we will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary of being inaugurated into The Royal Society - and it's being held on St George's Day - 23rd April - at the Crowne Plaza. More details to follow.

Then there will be the task of electing a new committee.

The RSSG Committee is solely made up of volunteers - and although we loose a few during the year due to work commitments - we are always looking for members to join and assist in arranging the monthly events. There is so much happening in Abu Dhabi nowadays it can be difficult to think up exciting ways to raise money for Charity-whilst providing RSSG members a chance to network.

The AGM will be held in May - and some of our existing committee will be stepping down, Should you wish to come on board and bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm please do let us know - the Committee meetings are held once a month at the Crowne Plaza.
